Vacation Employment
A great way to earn money during your studies and get to know German culture. Work up to 90 days per year at German companies.
Requirements
- Enrolled at a foreign university
- Semester break in home country
- At least 18 years old
- Good to very good German skills
Required documents
- 1Enrollment certificate (original)
- 22 recent passport photos
- 3Copy of driver's license (if available)
- 42 completed application forms
Note: All documents must be submitted by December 31 for the following year.
Training
During training, you acquire professional knowledge and skills needed as a specialist in Germany.
Requirements
- Completion of compulsory education
- At least 18 years old
- German skills at least B1 level
- Motivation and friendly demeanor

Skilled Worker
As a qualified skilled worker with a recognised vocational qualification or university degree, you can work in Germany long-term under the Skilled Immigration Act.
Requirements
- Recognised vocational training or university degree
- German language skills (usually at least B1)
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
- A concrete job offer in Germany

- 4Language certificate

Seasonal Worker
Short-term contingent employment lets you work in Germany for a limited season (up to 8 months) – with collective-agreement pay.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- Citizenship of a partner country with a contingent agreement
- Physical fitness for seasonal work
- Valid passport
